Skill Level: First-time player or returning Discovery Workshop students are welcome to join us.

Activity content: Introduction to the handpan: history, structure, how a handpan is made, combing 'heart coherence' for more beautiful handpan music, First Touch : how to play the handpan tone fields, demonstration of what melody, harmony, and rhythm are, how to create 2-note chords, what is the harmony axis on a handpan, how to play a chord progression, importance of timing, rules for playing with others, FAQ if you are thinking about purchasing a handpan.
