TEACHER PROFILE
Martynas Sučyla
PANEVEZYS/LITHUANIA
I’m Martynas Sučyla — a handpan artist, maker and teacher.
My journey began in childhood, when I loved taking musical instruments apart just to understand how they resonated and came alive. That early curiosity eventually led me to the handpan. Today I craft “Dangaus Būgnas” instruments in my workshop in the Panevėžys region, shaping each one through patience, fire, and deep listening.
As both a creator and an educator, I see the handpan as a bridge between creativity and inner connection.

In my teaching, I guide students toward intuitive, heartfelt playing, helping them explore rhythm, emotion, and personal expression. Alongside my craft, I’m committed to growing and supporting the handpan community in Lithuania through knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and meaningful musical experiences.
